Calera approves $11.7 million grant, railroad overpass bridge to be built

The railroad overpass bridge will be constructed in downtown Calera with the help of a $11.7 million grant from the Federal Railroad Administration. The bridge will allow drivers to avoid being stopped at the railroad crossings on Highway 25.
