Community Updates - Organization (August - November 2025)

Main Street Enterprise raised $12,000 at its annual Girls Night Out, which benefited the Coffee County Family Services and its support of breast cancer patients in the community. Main Street Wetumpka enjoyed its fifth Wine Pull at Wind Creek Wetumpka, also raising over $12,000 to help fund ongoing projects. The organization also partnered with the statewide Joy to Life Foundation for a breast cancer walk downtown.

 

Jasper Main Street played host to this year’s CAWACO RC&D grant presentation, while LaFayette Main Street received a grant award from Coosa Valley RC&D to support the development of its new Spot on the Square.”

 

Monroeville Main Street’s Tribute to Truman FUNdraiser collected over $7000, and Main Street Oxford’s Alabama Power donation of $10,000 will go towards its ongoing downtown revitalization initiatives. The team in Oxford also led the final two district-wide litter clean-up days of the year!

 

Downtown Florence found great success at its Culinary Career Day, which gave local students a behind-the-scenes look at the culinary industry. Likewise, Main Street Marion welcomed the University of Alabama Honors College to its Marion Arts Center as part of the Whitt Fellows Program.

 

For Main Street Anniston, the second annual Anniston Small Business Awards Banquet celebrated the small businesses and leaders who continue to shape its downtown. And speaking of impactful leadership, Heflin Main Street had the honor of hosting Main Street Alabama’s ceremony recognizing U.S. Congressman Mike Rogers with its Leadership Award.
